Brompton 1975 Edition
C Line 12-Speed

This limited edition Brompton folding bike is a tribute to 50 years of innovation, excellence, and the people who make it possible.

The Thermal Fade finish is inspired by the colours created during the crucially important frame brazing process. Brazing is the method used to create a strong and stable bond between the steel tubes that make a Brompton frame. The frame is the heart of every bike, and brazing produces a high-quality, and super-durable result.

Fifty years on the C Line captures the same smile-inducing, go-anywhere feeling it always has, but it does better than ever.
Lighter, more portable, unstoppable. It does more than you think.

Purchase yours today. Only available while stock lasts!

Electrify Your Life Expo 2025

We invite you to visit the Brompton Junction Melbourne stall at this year's Electrify Your Life Expo, proudly presented by Electrify Boroondara and the City of Boroondara.

Now in its third year, this is one of Australia’s largest and most practical community electrification events.

Electrify Boroondara is a not-for-profit, volunteer-run alliance helping households switch to clean, electric technologies – our expo connects you to local experts, installers and suppliers. The event is free to attend and we'd love to see lots of familiar faces. Click here for more expo details.

Bike Servicing and Repairs

Spring is well and truly here. Our lead time to book a service is short at the moment; that will change as the weather warms up. Despite runs of cool days, consistently warmer weather will be upon us before you can say "where did everyone come from?". Get in now and make sure your bike is ready for plenty of summer riding!

With all scheduled services we aim to offer same day servicing. To assist us with this, we request customers drop off your bike between 9-10am the day of their service or the afternoon before. Due to limited space, we request customers collect your bike the same day the service is completed.

To book a service you're welcome to visit us in person, or contact us by:
For Brompton-specific queries you're welcome visit us in person, or contact us by:
If you get a flat tyre you're still welcome to roll in without a booking.

COMMUNITY NOTICES

Have Your Say:
Electrical safety requirements for e-transport devices

EnergySafe Victoria is consulting on a proposal to introduce certification requirements for e-bikes, e-scooters and e-skateboards to reduce battery fire risk.

They are inviting feedback from a range of experts, interested parties, community organisations and the public. Your views will help assess the risks, test the practicality of the proposal, and understand impacts on e-transport users and industry.

What You Can Do
Complete an online survey or email a submission. Submissions close Monday 13 October 2025 at 12:00 pm (noon).  Full details and link to the online survey can be found here: https://www.energysafe.vic.gov.au/electrical-safety-requirements-e-transport-devices

Velo Cycles - Merri-bek City Council
Bike Counter Update

What an August! For a month when the weather was pretty patchy, 73,080 is a pretty impressive total. The best since 2019 in fact, which saw 79,502 riders past the counter.

The average number of daily riders for August was 2,357. Weekdays averaged 1.4 times the number of weekend riders. The busiest day was Thursday 21 August with 3,292. (A reminder that counts for June 2024 through to July 2025 are only partial, where available).

Keep up the great work everyone! Looking forward to more awesome totals for September!

Critical Mass - Melbourne

Critical Mass bike protests are organised rides that aim to raise awareness about cycling as a viable form of transportation and to advocate for better infrastructure and safety measures for cyclists and other mobility users. Participants ride as a group, to form a "critical mass", making the ride safe, family friendly, and inclusive to all. Typically held on the last Friday evening of each month. Follow along on social media or check out https://criticalmass.melbourne/ for more.
