Brompton 1975 Edition C Line 12-Speed
This limited edition Brompton folding bike is a tribute to 50 years of innovation, excellence, and the people who make it possible.
The Thermal Fade finish is inspired by the colours created during the crucially important frame brazing process. Brazing is the method used to create a strong and stable bond between the steel tubes that make a Brompton frame. The frame is the heart of every bike, and brazing produces a high-quality, and super-durable result.
Fifty years on the C Line captures the same smile-inducing, go-anywhere feeling it always has, but it does better than ever. Lighter, more portable, unstoppable. It does more than you think.
G Line Bromptons are only a week or two away! They're SO close you can practically taste your next adventure. With 20" wheels, disc brakes the widest handlebars on a Brompton to-date, it's no surprise this shipment has been so hotly anticipated.
At the same time Electric C Line Bromptons will be back in stock! Making commuting a breeze around town, and putting the fun back into your weekend adventures. Simply charge, unfold and go! With limited stock remaining to pre-order, be sure to get in before they're all gone!
Bike Servicing and Repairs
Get your bike ready for a Summer of fun and adventure - or just daily commuting, but hey, we can dream! Our workshop is booked about a week in advance currently. Please don't wait until something breaks to contact us!
With all scheduled services we aim to offer same day servicing. To assist us with this, we request customers drop off your bike between 9-10am the day of their service or the afternoon before. Due to limited space, we request customers collect your bike the same day the service is completed.
To book a service you're welcome to visit us in person, or contact us by:
If you get a flat tyre you're still welcome to roll in without a booking.
COMMUNITY NOTICES
Velo Cycles - Merri-bek City Council Bike Counter Update
Following the trend of the last couple of years, September was pretty flat compared to August with 71,237 riders for the month.
Weekday commuter numbers remained strong (2,593 average weekday vs 1,773 average weekend). The lowest periods were Father's Day (only 806), the first weekend of school holidays, and GF weekend which coincided with the second weekend of school holidays. The busiest day was Thursday 18 September with 3,222. (A reminder that counts for June 2024 through to July 2025 are only partial, where available).
Keep up the great work everyone! Looking forward to a lift in October!
Critical Mass - Melbourne
Critical Mass bike protests are organised rides that aim to raise awareness about cycling as a viable form of transportation and to advocate for better infrastructure and safety measures for cyclists and other mobility users. Participants ride as a group, to form a "critical mass", making the ride safe, family friendly, and inclusive to all. Typically held on the last Friday evening of each month. Follow along on social media or check out https://criticalmass.melbourne/ for more.
Neighbourly Ride are looking for volunteers to help lead their short, social, local bike rides for beginners and all abilities
