Domestic Shipping Policy

Shipment processing time

All orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Shipping rates & delivery estimates

Shipping charges and estimated delivery times for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. There is a $200 shipping fee per bike in all domestic areas within Australia – excluding some remote areas and hard to go places where usual mode of shipping may not be possible.

Parcels will be shipped using Australia Post services. All accessories and parts are sent via Post eParcel and Express Post services. Delivery times range from next day to 2 weeks depending on your location within Australia.

Bicycles will be re-packed into cartons that they arrive in from the factory prior to being shipped by a courier service. Delivery times range from next day to 2 weeks depending on your location within Australia.

Shipment confirmation & Order tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped.

Parcels

You will be provided with an Australia Post tracking number in the Shipment Confirmation email. Parcels can be tracked here: https://auspost.com.au/mypost/track/#/search

Cartons

You will be contacted by email &/or telephone to confirm shipment details such as collection confirmation and delivery estimates.

Customs, Duties and Taxes

Velo Cycles is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

Damages

Velo Cycles is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.

We’re still rolling as usual!

At Velo Cycles, we’re doing our very best to protect the health and safety of our staff and customers. All of our staff use sanitiser before touching products and interacting with customers. Our mechanics all wear gloves and sanitise bikes and workspaces between each service.

If you’re feeling sick, we ask that you please do not come into the shop, and we promise we’ll do the same. We have hand sanitiser available for all customers.

In order to maintain a safe distance between people, We’re reducing the number of customers in our shop. We kindly request that if you have a concern or question about your bike that you call us first before coming in on +61 3 9381 0088.

If we’re busy, we may ask customers to wait outside so that we can reduce physical contact where possible.

We’re open Mon-Fri 8am-5.30pm, Sat 10am-4pm, Sun and public holidays – closed.
