Domestic Shipping Policy

Shipment processing time

All orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Shipping rates & delivery estimates

Shipping charges and estimated delivery times for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. There is a $200 shipping fee per bike in all domestic areas within Australia – excluding some remote areas and hard to go places where usual mode of shipping may not be possible.

Parcels will be shipped using Australia Post services. All accessories and parts are sent via Post eParcel and Express Post services. Delivery times range from next day to 2 weeks depending on your location within Australia.

Bicycles will be re-packed into cartons that they arrive in from the factory prior to being shipped by a courier service. Delivery times range from next day to 2 weeks depending on your location within Australia.

Shipment confirmation & Order tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped.

Parcels

You will be provided with an Australia Post tracking number in the Shipment Confirmation email. Parcels can be tracked here: https://auspost.com.au/mypost/track/#/search

Cartons

You will be contacted by email &/or telephone to confirm shipment details such as collection confirmation and delivery estimates.

Customs, Duties and Taxes

Velo Cycles is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

Damages

Velo Cycles is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.

Bike Repair

Our workshop is still offering bike repairs, however in order to comply with the current Level 4 Covid-19 restrictions.

Current legislation states that that we only allowed to perform repairs on bicycles used for transport to a permissible workplace, for food shopping or care giving. Do you meet one of these current requirements?

To book a repair please follow these steps:

1. Contact us by email (workshop@velocycles.com.au) or phone us on 9381 0088. The next available appointment will likely be the following working day.

2. You will need to deliver your bike to Velo Cycles by 10am on the day of your service. Further instructions will be provided during the booking procedure.

3. We will contact you once our mechanic has assessed your bike and can provide you with a quote for the work to be performed.

4. We will contact you again on completion of the repair.
Bikes booked in for repair that arrive after 10am won’t be guaranteed same-day.

On the spot repairs must also be requested via phone (9381 0088) or email.
